We can never live life to the fullest if we’re constantly stressed out. Yin yoga activates your parasympathetic nervous system which calms your body and brings balance to the mind.
Instils A Sense of Quiet, Introspective Stillness
Yin yoga is a practice of slowing down. By holding each pose for a longer time, this practice gives your body a chance to restore and your mind to marinate in stillness.
Develop Greater Physical and Self Awareness
When you’re carefully taking a posture and slow down your breaths during the Yin practice, it provides an opportunity to observe, nurture, and calm ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions About Joining Our Yin Yoga Class
I don’t think my body is flexible enough for the extended hold in Yin Yoga.
No one is too inflexible for Yin Yoga. The extended holds in yin yoga give us the time and space to explore our feelings and emotions as they come up in each pose. But we do encourage our students to take their time to get comfortable with each pose, do whatever they can without having to force themselves.
Can I do Yin Yoga while pregnant?
Yin yoga is very gentle on the body but each pregnancy is different. It is always a good idea to consult a medical practitioner before attempting any exercise and particularly yoga, to ensure that you do not injure yourself.
